The Athenaeum at CalTech Wedding in Pasadena California | Wendy & Adam

I’ve known Wendy since college, so getting the chance to document Wendy and Adam’s wedding at The Athenaeum at CalTech was incredibly meaningful to me. We couldn’t have asked for better weather. It was one of those classic Southern California sunny days—warm with a cool breeze during the day, then the perfect temperature as the sun set and the celebration went into the night. Their ceremony and reception were filled with warm florals in shades of amber and burgundy, Chinese string light lanterns that hung above the outdoor reception space, and a Book-Bar where every guest could take home a favorite book (it was more popular than the actual bar!). Every detail was carefully thought out, and the day felt like a perfect reflection of their personalities.
